Well, I knew this was coming. I had to say it. My opinions on BL:TPS. It's a sad day when a Borderlands or any 2K game in general feels small and cramped. Its sad when it feels like a hold off game. Fan service, If you will. The hard truth is thats all this game is. The fans wanted to go to the moon and Hyperion's moon base. They got it. Just not in the way they wanted I bet. I've heard complaints that the game is a "Try hard DLC for Borderlands 2". Sad truth is, they're kinda right. In BL2, the main boss was a satisfying kill. the entire game felt like an adventure, an epic like none other. The franchise was going to get better from there. But this feels like a step DOWN, especially after the expansiveness of BL2. The Legendaries i've been able to experience are OP. Not because they are powerful, but rather because there is about 2-3 things in the game they cant insta-kill.
So, smaller game, OP weps (lvl 30's should not be decent against lvl 50s) and too much pure dumb luck in getting the sustainable weapons. Sad to say, but it gets a 7/10. More areas to explore and more to do would have given it borderlands 2's 10/10, but i cant give BL:TPS a 10/10 in good conscience in its current state.
